ALCOHOL STILL. The best solution to distill spirits (Pure alcohol or Vodka) at sea. Look at the AIR cooled VODKA MAKER, thats the trade name. Costs about $400 and works a treat and no fuss. Brilliant in fact. Of course whilst its not illegal to make alcohol in a bucket using water, sugar and yeast, it is illegal to separate the alcohol by distillation . How bloody stupid is that. Anyway a  great reason to do it, in Australia if its illegal it just has to be good.

Basically, put sugar in water with yeast in a bucket (not airtight) with a loose cover or lid to keep insects out, place 4 litres of this mix after 4  days into the still and evaporate off the pure alcohol, automatically, through the charcoal filter, into the jug supplied. Cut the alcohol with water to reduce to a drinkable 40%, add flavouring to this vodka to make Scotch, Rum, Bourbon,  butterscotch schnapps or whatever legover you prefer.

No hangover either.
