The Supplier will not reveal the country of manufacture only state that it is somewhere in ASIA Our 2 x GT 12 200C amp/hr AGM were supplied we suspect sulphated. Despite being charged correctly and never discharged below 12.1 V these units could not supply after 6 months more than 8 amp over 67minutes, from a fully charged state of 14.6V before being flat, (11.7 v ) Sure products can be defective however whilst still in warranty our email to the Importer /Distributor Orbis Pty Ltd brought the response we are in Thailand and will contact you on our return, and never have. Further email attemps to contact the supplier are blocked. Warranty period now expired. They can relax. Appalling aftersales service. OH YES.

*Special Note. AGM or Starved Acid batteries have the acid soaked into the plates fibreglass sleeves during manufacture. They age from the date they are manufactured, if they sit in a discharged state for a period the plates sulphate. Ensure AGM Batteries are of recent manufacture.

NAVMAN 3100 WIND

Most of our electronics are Navman, happy with them all EXCEPT the 3100 Wind. After sales service has been excellent from Navman, however there is a limit to how many times the failure of the mast top sender unit is acceptable even though navman will replace it willingly. It appears this unit cannot stand exposure to strong winds? The sender stalks plug continues to shatter due to vibration, the unit constantly requires the factory reset operation, LCD readout sections come and go. Our instrument panel is in a completely weather protected area. Buy another brand.

WISE HELM CHAIR

Distributed by Whitworths this expensive Deluxe Helm Chair will not last 6 weeks if sat in daily. No problem with the Springfield Pedestal’s we mounted our seats on. But these seat’s allegedly made in the USA by WISE is terrible in every way, the angle of back support is all wrong, you feel like you are falling backwards and within a few weeks when all the very thin plastic molding cracks up, you will. This product is actually dangerous. DO NOT BUY.
